ART UNION OF LONDON. DECORATED IN THE THISTLE PATTERN DESIGNED BY THE FAMOUS MARK V MARSHALL. DATES FROM THE c1890 s. HAS BLUE STYLISED RAISED THISTLE HEADS AND FOLAGE , REPEATED AROUND THE JUG, HAS A BROWN MOTTELED TOP & BOTTOM BORDER, WITH DOTTED DECORACTION , LOVELY SCROLLED TOP RIM, AND STYLISED DECORATED HANDLE. FULLY BACK MARKED IMPRESSED, TOGETHER WITH THE ART OF UNION MARK , AND EARLY ROYAL DOULTON BACK STAMP & VARIOUS OTHER MARKS & ITITIALS. MEASURES 10.5 INCH TALL X 4.5 WIDE. IN GOOD ORIGINAL OVERALL CONDITION , WITH NO CHIPS CRACKS, CRAZING, HAS HAD A PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION TO THE LIP END OF THE SPOUT, REDUCED PRICE REFECTS FOR THIS.
