Rare Royal Doulton Antique Seriesware Jug/Pitcher – Hunting, Morland D1701. Designer: After designs by Charles Morland (1763 – 1804). Scene/Title: Huntsman galloping and waving a whip over his head. Beautifully gold gilded around the top rim, base and handle and around the scenes. Issued: 1901 with the range added to until 1913, withdrawn by 1928. Height: 7 3/4 inches (19.7 cm), Width: (spout to handle) 7 inches (17.7 cm), Base Diameter: 5 inches (12.7 cm) approx. Excellent Condition Assured – No chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. Some slight wear to the gold gilding around the base only. Does not detract at all and mentioned for complete accuracy. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection. Will be sent very safely packaged, as always.
