“Good Evening” (in my worst Hitchcock accent). Royal Doulton (Sir) Alfred Hitchcock D 6987. Hand Made and Hand Decorated in England circa 1995. Modelled (Designed) by David Brian Biggs. Approximate Measurements at longest points: 6″ L x 7″ W x 7 H. PLEASE SEE PICS FOR PHYSICAL DETAILS. This piece was originally released with the bloody pink shower curtain from Psycho but replaced with a white one with a stamp of MCA (instead of MCM) at the order of MCA which makes it fairly rare to come across. Film reel containers at the bottom of the shower curtain on the back of handle shows the names of some of Hitchcock’s most iconic movies: The Birds, Psycho, and Rope. On top of the curtain is one of the notorious crows or ravens from The Birds. There is a “Slate” aka clapperboard at the bottom front of handle. Doulton Burslem A2978 Hand Painted Pink & Orange Floral & Raised Gold Jug / Ewer. Nice earthenware ewer / jug. Decorated with large hand painted pink and orange flowers with raised gold gilt highlights and blue, pink, purple, and orange leaves. With a patchwork floral design around the bottom of the spout. Gold gilding along the foot rim, neck, and to the handle. Marked with a crown over Doulton Burslem. This mark was used by Royal Doulton between 1886 to 1891. Has crazing typical of earthenware and the spout appears to had a small section of the end broken off and gilded over to try and hide this. No additional chips, chips, or restoration. Measures approximately 6 1/4 inches wide x 10 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
