Royal Doulton Captain Hook D6947, 1994 Character Jug of the Year, with Certificate of Authenticity. Peter Pan’s archenemy from the J. Barrie play was featured as the Royal Doulton 1994 Character Jug of the Year. Designed by Martyn C. Alcock, Captain Hook was introduced in 1994 in a limited run and discontinued the same year. The handle features the relentless pursuing crocodile and his silver hook, the result of Peter feeding Cook’s hand to the crocodile. The base features the special Royal Doulton Character Jug of the Year mark, artist monograms and designer’s signature. 7.5 inches tall. Excellent as new condition, no damage or repairs and complete with Certificate of Authenticity. Any white spots in the photos are reflections or glare. Looking for a special piece?
