The jug (including fitted lid) are in excellent condition with no damage, repairs, scratches or paint rub. The colours are vibrant and the glaze high gloss. There is fine crazing visible over the cream areas of the outside walls of the body, outside face of the lid and underside of the base. The base stamp is the Royal Doulton insignia with lion over crown in red with the pattern number D4049 in black. There is an embossed Patent 114107 on the base. Dimensions are: height (with lid on) – 190mm, width spout to handle – 145mm, width side to side 75mm (top rim), 90mm (widest body), 95mm(base). Unpackaged weight is 720g.
