Royal Doulton Magna Art Deco Milk Jug & Sugar Bowl 1930s Very Rare. For your perusal, a lovely milk jug & sugar bowl made by Royal Doulton saucers in the delightful Magna pattern, from the Art Deco period. These pieces really embody the style and elegance of the age, with a simple design in black, gold and orange/ red. These pieces are a very rare find & there are examples of this pattern on display in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The pieces are in great condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The pattern is fine and bright, with a little rubbing or pattern loss to small areas. There are the usual firing, age & cutlery marks which is normal in crockery of this age. Please see photos as these form part of the description. The approximate measurements are. Milk jug- 10.5cm spout to handle, 10cm tall. Sugar bowl- 10cm diameter, 5cm tall.
