Produced as a promotional item for the D&J McCallum Distillery, this rare Doulton Kingsware jug dates from around 1930’s. Measuring just under 7 tall, the jug is in excellent condition and is free from any damage, cracks or repairs. Under close inspection there appears to be a very minor manufacturing flaw to the handle (see images), this little mould crease is fully glazed over and is purely noted for total condition accuracy. Age crazing is present in certain areas but this is very light and extremely minimum given its rich glaze and age. Overall this is a excellent example of this very desirable Kingsware jug.
