Modelled in a distinctive straw boater with a five shilling price tag protruding from the hatband as opposed to the simpler approved hat with barley stalks in the hatband (as shown above). This version was presumably rejected due higher production costs. Aside from the different mould, the jug is decorated in a distinctive colourway of green coat, yellow scarf with white spots, pink nose, brown whiskers, straw coloured boater with red and blue hatband. Designed by William Harper. Stands 6 inches high. With no damage, no crazing and no restoration. As you can see from enlarging the pictures, the casting and decoration are outstanding.
