A very rare jug in the Witches pattern. Series ware took literary themes and storybook illustrations as its inspiration. Particularly children’s classics. This after all was the Golden Age of the nursery tea! Production was from 1906 to the 1920’s. Very little is now found. This piece is 8.5 inches tall. 5.5 inches wide. Crazed which is usual with this ware. Excellent condition for age. Please see all pictures to judge. They form part of the description. Will be carefully packed for transit recycled material used.
