A really wonderful Royal Doulton’Titanian’ conical jug. By the great Harry Allen. Dating to the earlier 20thC. Finely painted with’Young Warblers’, fully signed and titled by Allen etc. Measures just under 9.25 inches/23.3cm tall. This fine example is in perfect condition with no faults. To the top terminal of the handle where it meets the body there is a very hard to see underglaze firing crease in the glaze – this does not go through the body of the jug to the inside and is not detectable to the touch, completely under glaze and original to manufacture that is a guarantee.
