Rare Royal Doulton Seriesware Gallant Fishers Jug D3680. These Tudor shape jugs were produced in three sizes, this being the mid size. Scene/Title: “O` the gallant fisher`s life it is the best of any “. Characters: Two sleeping fishermen back to back. Series Issued: 1913 – 1936. Height: 7 inches (17.7 cm), Width: (spout to handle) 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), Base: 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm) approx. Very Good Condition – No cracks, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. There is a chip just below the green trim but this is underglaze see pic. All over, very fine, clean, age related crazing present. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection.
