For sale this stunning ROYAL DOULTON Character jug CHARLES DICKENS in great condition. The 125th anniversary of the death of Charles Dickens was commemorated in 1995 with this unique 2 handled character jug designed by William K. Part of the Charles Dickens Characters Series and issued in a limited edition of 2500 pieces, this is number 1341. The handles feature six Dickens characters: Oliver Twist, Sairey Gamp, Ebenezer Scrooge, Little Nell, Mr. Pickwick and Little Dorrit. The base features a special Royal Doulton mark with open book, quill and inkwell, designers signature, singed inspection sticker and artist monogram and individual piece number. This low number piece is in excellent, as new condition and is complete with numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Painting detail is precise and color / complexion excellent. All the white spots or imperfections are due to the camera flash. Thank you for looking.
