Colorway color combination not listed in the Charlton Standard Catalogue. Jar is Style One. Includes working locking lid and is 4.5 in height. Item is in beautiful condition for it’s age, with exception of two small chips on inside of lid. Antique handmade stoneware saltglaze pottery Royal Doulton gin keg dispenser jug
Up for sale is a rare antique late 19th century handmade Royal Doulton salt glazed stoneware gin keg. It’s sculpted out of a thick stoneware and embellished with an exquisite coat of arms done in high relief alone with the word GIN underneath in a lovely scroll. The keg has a dispensing hole at the bottom which has a brass spigot but is missing a small piece. There is also a vent hole and a larger hole at the top to add contents.
