Collectible Royal Doulton large character jug, The Witch, by Stanley James Taylor. This character jug was designed by Stanley J Taylor and produced in 1991 as part of the Mystical Series. This design is harder to find of the collectible large character jugs. This jug is the large size character jug (head only as opposed to the full body toby jugs) produced by Royal Doulton for over 60 years and are highly collectible. This jug was produced by Doulton in 1989 only as a Limited Edition of 5,000 jugs. It was produced by Doulton for UK International Ceramics and is the first jug of The Great Generals Collection. This jug measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. It has been tucked away in a box for over 30 years now and has been well protected. As most collectors know the Character Jugs usually just feature the head and shoulders of the subject, while the Toby Jug is usually the full body of a seated person, These pieces are all in excellent condition unless we list otherwise. Royal Doulton Burslem Cobalt Flow Blue Daffodil 1890s Vase Pitcher Jug

This is an absolutely magnificent antique flow blue Pitcher/Vase. The pitcher is a fine example of the early pieces made by Doulton Burslem Pottery in England. It is in the Blue Daffodil pattern. It is beautifully decorated with blue flowers on scattered gold. The jug is marked with Doulton Burslem impressed and printed stamp that dates it between 1882 and 1901. The pitcher is approx. 6 1/4 tall to the rim. It is in good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There may be some crazing that is consistent with its age and normal use or/and some dark spots and manufacturing defects like bubbles under the glaze and missing paint.
