Here’s an original Royal Doulton kingsware “Pipe Major” jug over 100 years old….. The front of the jug has a nice multi color picture of a Scottish pipe major in full military attire with his bag pipes. The back has AC monogram. Maker’s mark on bottom ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND with crown, etc. Dark brown glazed oval jug with handle and offset pour spout flared lip…. Multi color features on the man….. Oval with footed base……… Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A nice clean jug with no stain. This Royal Doulton jug was made in the 1910 era probably for Dewar’s Whisky.
