Antique Doulton Lambeth Sterling Silver Rim Small Jug 1879 signed Nellie Garbet. Antique Royal Doulton Jug made in 1879. Has numerous potters marks underside including Nellie Garbett and Mary Aitken. Nellie Garbett was an artist associated with Doulton Lambeth, known for her work in the Art Nouveau style. She created various pieces, including vases with stylized floral designs. Also includes mark by: Mary Aitken was an assistant artist at Doulton, working from 1875 to 1894. She contributed to the decorative work of several prominent designers, including Louisa J. Davis, Eliza Simmance, and William Parker. Condition: Inspection found the piece in excellent condition. There are no chips cracks or restoration. The sterling silver rim has a small dent.
