Stopper: In good condition; stopper cap is a metal material, not pewter; cork is attached to stopper cap & in aged, decent condition. (refer to photos 6-7). Base: In exceptionally good condition; no dings, no chips, no scratches; rim in original mint condition. (refer to photo 5). Only One Problem with this beautiful Jug….. THE ORIGINAL SCOTCH WHISKEY IS LONG GONE! I have no way of ever knowing if this is true or not….. But it sure makes for a great story! My father passed this jug on to my wife and me in 1980, and we have enjoyed having it displayed in our breakfast room cabinet all these years.
