This early 19th century Toby pitcher is marked with the gold anchor which is an early Davenport mark. It stands 8 1/2 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide. Excellent hand painted details. Note that the hands and the beer mug are separated from the body, this is and early feature showing that the mug parts were molded in pieces and then attached, not cast in one piece as in later examples.
