Offered for your consideration is this very nice large character jug depicting a special edition of Sairey Gamp. This was commissioned to celebrate the opening of a Royal Doulton Room at Strawbridge and Clothier in 1986. A bit of Philadelphia memorabilia as I do not believe the store still is still in business. Jug is approximately 6.25 tall and was produced only in 1986 in a limited edition. In the Charlton catalogue of character jugs 10’th ed. Photos of the item above are a part of the item description.
