Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of the famous Irish author, poet and playwright, this impressive pieces was issued in 2000 as the Character Jug of the Year and produced only for one year. Designed by Robert Biggs, the handle features a scroll with titles of the author’s important works, walking cane, gloves, books and iconic carnation boutonniere. The base features the Royal Doulton mark, artist monogram and pocket watch millennium year cypher for 2000. Approximately 7 inches tall.
