Scene/Title: “O` the gallant fisher`s life it is the best of any “. Characters: Two sleeping fishermen back to back. Series Issued: 1913 – 1936. Height: 7 inches (17.7 cm), Width: (spout to handle) 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), Base: 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm) approx. Very Good Condition – No cracks, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. There is a chip just below the green trim but this is underglaze see pic. All over, very fine, clean, age related crazing present. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection. Title: ” Of Recreation There Is None So Free As Fishing Is Alone”. Scene: A smiling man fishing cross legged on wall, his friend behind also fishing. Series Issued: 1913 – 1936. Height: 8 inches (20.3 cm), Width: (spout to handle) 7 1/2 inches (19.1 cm), Base: 5 inches (12.7 cm) approx. Very Good Condition – No cracks, scratches, crazing, restoration or any other kind of damage. There are three areas to the base of the jug, two appear as paint loss/chips but are under glaze. The other is a chip/fault that appears to be a manufacturing fault. The underglaze paint loss is to the rear of the jug, the other two are at the front but cannot be seen when displayed see pics. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection. Will be sent very safely packaged, as always.
