A scarce C1910s Royal Doulton “Riverside Views” Castle shape jug. References from the late 1990s list the scene. Esigned by Herbert Betteley. As a newly discovered scene. Select group of artists at the Royal Doulton Burslem pottery. The pattern number D3300 dates the design to 1910. 13.6 cm high at the highest point. No chips, cracks or scratches. Very fine, clean, glaze crazing which is hard to see. No wear or damage to the green rim line. Bright glaze – much shinier than the photos suggest. You will wait a VERY LONG TIME to see another of these. DIMENSIONS: 8 inches or 20 centimeters tall and about 7 1/2 inches or 19 centimeters from spout tip to handle CONDITION: immaculate, free from chips, cracks and repairs – fine clean crazing that is par for the course for seriesware of this age – the item presents very well and given the age and relative scarcity of this item – it is remarkable. A very scarce Royal Doulton Corinth shape LARGE jug in Athens pattern D3302. It is regarded as one of the very first Doulton seriesware patterns and it is not commonly seen. DIMENSIONS: approx 18 centimeters or 7 inches tall and approx 11 centimeters or 4 1/4 inches diameter at the top. CONDITION: presents as perfect and displays very well – no chips, cracks or repairs. A little age related coloured unobtrusive crazing inside the jug which doesn’t affect the display of the piece – from the outside (display side) it is great (look at the interior pictures for clarification). Overall a wonderful cabinet quality example of this highly collectable early Doulton seriesware pattern. We will invoice you. Which is included on all of our pieces.
