Here is a rare limited edition Pair of Royal Doulton “Queen Victoria” and “Prince Albert” small character jugs modelled by William K. Harper and produced in 1997 as a limited edition of only 2500 for by Lawleys by Post. The jugs are modelled as the young Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and commemorate their marriage in 1840. The Queen Victoria jug’s handle is modelled as a Union Jack flag and crown, and the Prince Albert jug’s handle is modelled as the Great Exhibition of 1851 banner. The jugs both stand 4 1/4 high and weigh about 550 grams the pair unpacked. The jugs are fully stamped on their base, are both. Numbered 758 of 2500 and they come with their original Certificate of Authenticity (see photos). Both jugs are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
