Here is a very beautiful and rare, Royal Doulton “Shakespeare Jug, D2779″. Face of the jug has a great picture of Falstaff holding Dame Quickley. And type says “Falstaff & Dame Quickley, I Warrant Thee Nobody Hears”. Back of jug has a crest that says “Merry Wives of Winsor, Falstaff I Warrant Thee Nobody Hears, Act 2, Scene 2″ Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or restoration. It doe have typical overall light crazing. This is a large jug and is almost 8 inches tall with the top of the rim almost 5 inches in diameter. Base is marked “Royal Doulton England”.
