Antique Edwardian Royal Doulton soft paste porcelain Bird of Paradise jug / ewer. This product data sheet is originally written in English. A rare example of a Royal Doulton soft paste jug / pitcher / ewer dating from the early 20th century. With a wavy rim and narrow lip, decorated with exotic birds of paradise surrounded by foliage on two sides and richly sprayed with gilt throughout. Above the birds are two medallions elaborately outlined in gold depicting a bee on one side and a butterfly on the other. Made by Royal Doulton, England, c. 16.5 cm at widest point.
