Authentic ROYAL DOULTON England Made in England “Jolly Toby” was created by Harry Fenton – this is the rarer blue pants version. Height is 6.25. Using the date calculating formula known to Royal Doulton collectors, this piece is marked under the glaze with a handwritten number 38 next to the Royal Doulton backstamp, so added to the date 1927, it places this piece as produced in 1965. MINT – always kept wrapped in thick cotton cloth & stored away from light and any contact. The brilliant glaze & vivid paintwork of the artist are perfect with none missing and no crazing. It is in MINT CONDITION which means no fading, no scratches, no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no hairlines, no stains, no discoloration, no damages or repairs.
