Field Marshal Montgomery Royal Doulton Toby Character D6908 LIMITED EDITION GIFT. The next Royal Doulton from our collection is this hard to find character toby jug entitled “Field Marshal Montgomery” D6908. This is a LARGE version standing approximately 7″ tall x 7-1/2″ wide. This jug features the famous General Montgomery and is identified on the bottom as Field Marshal Montgomery D6908 a limited edition of just 2500! Bernard Law Montgomery (1887 – 1976), first Viscount Montgomery of Alamein, was referred to familiarly as Monty. The highlight of his long and distinguished military career include the first Allied victory of World War II in North Africa in 1942 and the acceptance of the German surrender at Luneburg Heath in 1945. He was Deputy Supreme Commander of The Allied Powers in Europe from 1951 – 1958. As you can see in the pictures it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Royal Doulton Cliff Cornell Blue Small Toby Jug Limited Edition Vintage 1956. Issued only in 1956. Limited edition, only 375. The Cleveland Flux Company of Cleveland, Ohio, ordered them in 1956. Cliff Cornell was the owner of the company. A consummate self-promoter and master of public relations, in the 1920s Cornell began to put his name, and the name of Cleveland Flux Company, on numerous promotional items. These Cornell-commissioned jugs were sent as freebies to customers, friends, and business associates at Thanksgiving, along with a holiday card saying that Cornell was sorry he could not be there himself, but he was sending the Jug with his greetings and compliments. Vintage: This is a vintage item that shows use and wear commensurate with age as photographed. No chips, breaks or repairs. See photos for detailed condition. ROYAL DOULTON KINGSWARE George VI TO COMMEMORATE THE 1937 CORONATION LTD EDITION OF 950. MODELLED AFTER SAINT EDWARDS CROWN, THE IMPERIAL CROWN OF GREAT BRITAIN. This valuable Royal commemoration has been carefully looked after for 86 years. I’ve shown the stopper separate because it was requested. The cork is incidental and has been replaced many times. The stopper still has its cork screw attachment which makes this piece even rarer. 1937 flask limited edition commemorative whisky flask issued for Coronation of George VI, 1937, including original. Dewar’s Whisky stopper, some wear, height 18 cm. Condition, good condition with no chipsm a rare find. The pics are part of the description. If you need any more just ask. It has the original stopper 15cm by 13.5 by 13.5cm Height 18 cm. It has no crazing and no chips in good condition.
