One of a series of 4 reinterpretations of the Classic early Female Toby Jugs for the 1780’s commission by Kevin Francis and sculpted Andy Moss in the late 1990’s, each one of the 100 issued was produced in a different colorway and stands slightly taller then the usual KF jug at just over 9 inches as well as carrying all 4 signatures of the Kevin Francis team which is unique to this collection. In perfect condition and offered for sale by The American Toby Jug Museum in Evanston IL. The American Toby Jug Museum hosts the finest and largest display of Toby and Character Jugs in the world, just over 8743 on the last count spread over 6000 sq foot. Admission is free and the museum is open Friday through Sunday every week from 12 to 5. Guided tours are available by appointment. Opened by the greatly missed late collector Steve Mullins in 1998, the museum is a non profit with the mission to share our amazing collection and encourage the collecting of Toby and characters jugs world wide. There are some very minor manufacturing flaws that are as follows; Willy Patton’s dog has a black mark in the finish SHOWN IN VARIOUS PHOTOS OF ITEM and the flag has a tiny black mark on one red stripe ALSO SHOWN IN PHOTOS, Very minor issues. It is not chipped just the manufacturing minor flaws other than that the item is in perfect near mint condition. There is no fading and has excellent color and a lot of detail. It is 8 1/2 inches tall. Any other issues are just camera flash! Comes from private collection in a smoke free home. Any questions please ask.
