Oliver Twist was a released in 2004 as a special Club edition of only 500. This is the first prototype trial with different coloring and a slightly different handle with the single shield instead of two, Standing 6 and half inches in height it is in perfect condition and has the Royal Doulton prototype backstamp. For further information on the release version you cansee it on page 242 of the A Century of Royal Doulton Character and Toby Jugs. As everyone knows it is always difficult to price pieces like this so we are starting off with what we think is a relatively high price and are opening it up to offers.
