Rare Musical Old King Cole Royal Doulton Character Jug D6014 c. Offered for sale is this rare Royal Doulton musical Old King Cole character jug. It has a Thorens movement. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. SIZE: It is approximately 5.75 inches tall. CONDITION: The pottery in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no restoration. The Thorens movement works if I turn it manually, but it won’t currently power itself. There are no missing teeth. All the pieces are here. There is some corrosion and stiffness to the movement, it needs a service. The wood base is starting to degrade, and one of the screws on the bottom is missing. Please see the close up pictures.
