A crisp 1905 Royal Doulton Nelson Centenary Jug. With a rich blue glaze, it features a green medallion of Nelson surrounded by the fleets at Trafalgar. The borders and handle are of rope twist form. “England Expects Every Man Will Do His Duty” is shown around the rim. The base stamps are. And the potters mark is GP, a potter unknown to me. The jug is 20cm tall by 15cm fore to aft by 12cm wide. In excellent condition with no damage.
