This dramatic two handled, Large sized, 7.5 William Shakespeare Character Jug was issued in 1992 as a limited edition of only 2,500. Sculpted to honor the man who is usually considered the greatest dramatist the world has known, his handles feature 6 of Shakespeare’s best known characters. Left Handle: Romeo, Falstaff, and Juliet. Right Handle: Titania, Hamlet and Touchtone. His back-stamp is hand numbered No. 584 and he will arrive before the beginning of the first act. What a playful addition to a Doulton enthusiast’s collection and a dream present for your favorite lover of The Bard!
