Royal Doulton Cliff Cornell Blue Small Toby Jug Limited Edition Vintage 1956. Issued only in 1956. Limited edition, only 375. The Cleveland Flux Company of Cleveland, Ohio, ordered them in 1956. Cliff Cornell was the owner of the company. A consummate self-promoter and master of public relations, in the 1920s Cornell began to put his name, and the name of Cleveland Flux Company, on numerous promotional items. These Cornell-commissioned jugs were sent as freebies to customers, friends, and business associates at Thanksgiving, along with a holiday card saying that Cornell was sorry he could not be there himself, but he was sending the Jug with his greetings and compliments. Vintage: This is a vintage item that shows use and wear commensurate with age as photographed. No chips, breaks or repairs. See photos for detailed condition. Issued in a Limited Edition of 1000 pieces these Royal Doulton Jugs of WILLIAM CLARK and MERIWETHER LEWIS D7234 and D7235. Jugs were specially commissioned by American Toby Jugs Museum to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of “The voyage of Discovery” 1804 – 1806. Produced as a pair. Both are marked 143 out of a Limited Edition of 1000 jugs. Hey come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Height is about 5 inches. Excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing. Will be professionally and carefully.

LARGE VINTAGE ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH STONEWARE POTTERY PITCHER W LID. A LARGE & IMPRESSIVE ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH PITCHER DECORATED WITH VARIOUS SCENES. The Toby jug is #806 of a 5000 piece limited edition series. The mug was also signed by James Brady, but that signature has worn off over the years. I will also include all of the original paperwork with this mug. Provenance: my grandfather, Robert “Bob” Lamkin, ran for the United States Congress, Illinois 22nd district, in 1972 at which time his friend, James Brady, was his campaign manager. Oglesby, who was Ronald Regan’s White House Deputy Chief of Staff among other positions in the administration. The signatures are guaranteed to be Ronald Regan’s and will come with a COA signed by me in addition to all of the original paperwork. I received the mug from my parents after my father passed away and have kept it in the original box stored away in a dark, dry closet for many years. I have never displayed the Toby jug, it has been kept in storage as long as I have owned it. Please message me with any questions.
