All of the Tiny Toby Jugs being offered for sale have the marking on the bottom of four interlocking “D”s. After 1882, until around 1901 this marking was used by Royal Doulton. Because the Character and Toby Jugs are all individually hand-painted no two are ever exactly alike. Many slight changes in coloring will therefore be noticed which it is impossible to particularize.
