Very Rare Antique Royal Doulton Pair Of Corolian Ware Jugs By Robert Allen
For sale are these stunning antique Corolian Ware jugs. Made by Royal Doulton Burslem. In a striking deep flow blue with hand painted flowers and gilt detail. They both have the same number RA17550D to the base. This is a Robert Allen design mark and dates them between 1892 – 1897. Although the shapes are identical the decoration is different to each. One of the jugs carries an additional number a8532. Corolian Ware was only made by Doulton between 1891 to 1902. In brilliant undamaged condition as you can see. The bases are a little crazed but they are otherwise good for their age. Measure approx 13.5 x 9.5 cm. Thank you for looking.
