I have on offer a Royal Doulton jug”Shakespeare” designed by Fenton & Noke & introduced in 1933 in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces worldwide, this is number 877 of that edition. This is in very good original condition without damage or restoration but is does have some age crazing to the inside which is common on ceramics of this age. This also comes complete with the original certificate. I use many companies so I will try to get the best service at the right price for you. There are several ways of posting parcels overseas. Weights exceeding 2 kilos will have to be sent using a courier. I would also use this service for higher value goods. Parcels under this weight are obviously cheaper than this. These prices will not apply to the UK, Asia or Europe. I have found the service unreliable & very slow. Circa 1870 Doulton & Watts Lambeth Lord Nelson Bust Jug. The salt glazed stoneware mug is in the form of the bust of Lord Nelson. The base reads :. Replica Of The Original Jug Made By Doulton & Watts Lambeth. And is based on the circa 1830 original. The jug has a height of 8 inches (20cm), a length of 6.5 inches (16.5cm) and a width of 6 inches (15cm). It weighs 1.23 Kg. The jug is in excellent condition for its age. Isle of Man Series. I have for sale from my own private collection a very rare Miniature Jug. The Isle of Man series was introduced by Royal Doulton in 1909 the date of withdrawal is not recorded but is likely to be prior to 1914. Plates and vases do crop up in this Series, however, I have never seen a Miniature! The jug features scene 3 with an old man walking in the country side. To the reverse is a landscape view with two cottages. Fully marked to the base with the special Triscelion (Three legs) backstamp and an impressed shape number of 959. Circa 1910 Pair Of Slater Royal Doulton Stoneware Jugs. This is a splendid pair of beautifully decorated Royal Doulton jugs with a sea green mottled upper rim & handle and a gilt & turquoise over beige lower portion. The upper and lower rims are a chesnut brown. Both jugs have a height of 8 inches (20.4 cm) and a base diameter of 3.2 inches (8.3 cm). The set weighs 1.64 kg. The vases are chip free. One has a couple of firing cracks – one on the inside and one on the underside – these are to the surface only and do not pass all the way through. For sale is a George Robey Toby jug by Royal Doulton circa 1926 in really lovely all round condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or restoration standing at 26 cm tall including his hat. This Jug comes with some memorabilia in the form of books and signed photos, i will add an image later. Any questions please ask. I’ve added an image of George Robey with Danny Kaye who is holding the Jug which is impressed George Robey to the fore of the base and according to Vic Schuler in his third edition book it was known that unfinished wares would make their way out of the factory, the one for sale is the finished item.
