Royal Doulton “Granny” Toby Mug. Presented for your consideration is this vintage Royal Doulton toby mug or jug. This character toby mug is of Granny and depicts an old lady’s face on the front wit her head wrapped in a bonnet. A single tooth can be seen between the lady’s parted lips. The back of the mug is marked with “Granny” in large raised lettering. The handle of the mug is made to look like Granny’s hair that was placed in a pony tail with 3 brown bands in it. Beautiful, intricate detailing is present throughout the mug. Inside is painted white. Bottom of the mug is marked with the Royal Doulton hallmark in green and reads Made in England. Finished with a smooth glaze. Six small felt stoppers were added at a later date around the bottom rim. No cracks or chips. Overall in EXCELLENT condition.
