The scene depicted is Scene 8 Man with stick greeting man with donkey (but the donkey is partially hidden). This series was issued between 1912 and 1945 and the brainchild of Harry Allen. Jug is approx 13cms (5 1/4″) tall and approx 16cms (6 1/4″) spout to handle. Jug is in excellent display condition and is free from cracks, chips and repairs. There is some fine clean crazing seen at “very close range” but you have to be mindful that this series is at least 80 years old, most examples are closer to 100 years old. A great collector display example of this rare scene. Which is included on all of our pieces.
