Royal Doulton Fat Boy Set of three Toby Jugs- RARE SET
The Royal Doulton “Fat Boy” Set of three Toby Jugs is a rare and collectible set featuring intricately hand-painted designs in three sizes. Small version (approx 4.0 inches tall). Miniature version (approx 2.25 inches tall). Tiny Version (approx 1.25 inches tall). The “fat Boy” character is one of Royal Doulton’s early Dickens / character jugs. The design is usually attributed to Leslie Harradine & H. But some sources cite designer Charles Noke (RD’s first art director). Possibly produced mid 20th century (circa 1940’s -1960’s), this is a rare opportunity to own a complete set in multiple scales.
