Limited to a total of 2,000 worldwide, this is number 468. The seated Queen is wearing the Imperial State Crown, holding the Sceptre with the Cross in one hand, the Orb in the other. Base measures 14.7cm x 15cm. Raw unpackaged weight of 965g, will be over 1kg safely posted. In very good/excellent condition – no chips, cracks or crazing. Open to reasonable offers. Item has Back stamp hall mark : MA 22 GHT. A sensational item in otherwise Fantastic amazing condition. The Pitcher jug decanter shows off the stylish Art Nouveau panels with variations of a blue and tan glaze and deep cuts and relief. The colours are incredible and contrasting. This piece is signed by GHT- George Hugo Tabor His work is extremely Rare and Hardly anything surfaces these days He worked as an artist for Royal Doulton Lambeth ware from 1881 – 1889 and most references to his name states that his work for The Doulton Co. Was rare and limited.. A fantastic elegant & stylish addition to your Stoneware collection I do not think you will see another jug like this for a long time to come as most reside in private collections and museums.
