Here we have for sale a very Rare Royal Doulton Character Toby Teapot. Tony Weller is the Toby Jug it is molded after. The Teapots are molded or “Blown Out” with the handle being the hand, and the spout being the shoulder. Very desirable & avidly collected. All produced only the one year in 1939, making them Super Rare. It is titled The Original Price Guide to Royal Doulton Discontinued Character Jugs by Princess and Barry Weiss. The Teapot measures 10 1/2″ from Spout to handle, by 7″ tall to the top hat brim of the lid, by 5 1/2 in depth back to front. The Hand Painting is just beautiful with every inch covered in bright color. There are no chips, cracks nor repairs. The Teapot is in Mint condition. The teapot is marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton Lion & Crown Mark, The British Registry Mark (old one) & the words Tony Weller.
