Rare Antique Royal Doulton Kingsware Whisky Water Jug or Pitcher. Signed by Artist Charles Noke. Depicting ten Dickens characters, The Dodger & Oliver Twist. This Antique jug, modeled in relief, is superbly decorated in wonderful Kingsware hues of green, brown and yellow. The Pitcher was made in around 1900’s. It is Marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton Lion & Crown Mark. The Pitcher rim was cased in sterling silver. Date mark 1922 , London. Jug Made in England at the Doulton Studio’s. Height: 6 1/2 inches approx. 6 1/2 across from spout to handle. No chips, cracks, scratches or restoration. Really a beautiful piece with no damage to report.
