Rare Royal Doulton Seriesware Jug – Egyptian A Pottery D3419. Scenes/Titles: Enthroned man wearing peaked hat and holding vase / Man with vase in each hand / Boy with ball hat / Man and woman holding vases / Man with tall hat holding a staff / Man holding a ewer. In 1923, a year after the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, the design was modified to include the subtitle Tutankhamun’s Treasures, Luxor, Egypt. The series was withdrawn in 1929. This piece can be dated to pre 1923. Height: 7 1/2 inches (19.0 cm), Width: (spout to handle) 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm), Top: 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm), Base Diameter: 4 inches (10.1 cm). Excellent Condition Assured – No cracks, chips, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. There is all over fine, clean age related crazing present.
