This jug was produced by Doulton in 1989 only as a Limited Edition of 5,000 jugs. It was produced by Doulton for UK International Ceramics and is the first jug of The Great Generals Collection. This jug measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall and is in excellent condition. It has been tucked away in a box for over 30 years now and has been well protected. Here we have a beautiful vintage (possibly antique) JUG DECANTER with a metal corked stopper advertising DEWER’S WHISKY made by Kingsware for ROYAL DOULTON of England – displaying a center portrait “George the Guard” (a honey glazed man in a tricorn hat holding a blunderbuss) on a glossy brown glazed background. The bottom is marked, DEWER. S WHISKY (Lion) (Crown) ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND. 9″ high (with stopper) x 4-1/4″ in lower diameter x 2-1/2 in base diameter, can hold up to 28 ounces. It is in great maintained (displayed) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted minor age crazing on exterior bottom, not offensive. This item weighs approx.
