The Royal Doulton Shakespeare Jug Limited Edition 851/1000 is a large ceramic and porcelain jug with a multicolor design, standing at 10.5 inches tall and 6 5/8 inches wide. Shakespeare Immortal Swan of Avon, is a limited edition piece, manufactured in 1933, features a theme of Shakespeare plays and bears the image of William Shakespeare. As a valuable collectible item from the early 20th century, this jug is a unique and sought-after piece for collectors of fine dinnerware and serveware. The certificate of authenticity is included, but not in good condition. The artist is Charles Noke. Very Good Condition: no chips, nicks, cracks or repairs.

Royal Doulton Rip Van Winkle A Concord shape jug – pitcher. Around the Inner rim reads: Answered by a Flock of idle crows, my very dog has forgotten me. This series was introduced in 1906. Rated as exceedingly uncommon. DECORATED WITH AN ALMOST PENCIL LIKE SKETCHES, TO ONE SIDE A FIGURE OF RIP VAN WINKLE, TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE THERE IS RIP VAN WINKLE WITH A GUN OVER HIS SHOULDER, STANDING OUTSIDE A COTTAGE WHILE A DOG BARKS AT HIM, AND ABOVE THERE ARE 3 NYMPH LIKE FIGURES IN THE CLOUDS. BENEATH THE POURING LIE THERE IS A MURDER OF CROWS. Approximately 8 inches tall, 7 inches handle to spout, and 5 inches diameter. In vert good condition with some gilt trim loss, some discoloration – typical of production of this early seriesware and its age. There are signs of possible minor restoration work.

Mini mug, D 6911, 1055/7500. Mugs are in excellent used condition without cracks, chips, repairs, etc. Only age appropriate ware. Antique Doulton Lambeth Sterling Silver Rim Small Jug 1879 signed Nellie Garbet. Antique Royal Doulton Jug made in 1879. Has numerous potters marks underside including Nellie Garbett and Mary Aitken. Nellie Garbett was an artist associated with Doulton Lambeth, known for her work in the Art Nouveau style. She created various pieces, including vases with stylized floral designs. Also includes mark by: Mary Aitken was an assistant artist at Doulton, working from 1875 to 1894. She contributed to the decorative work of several prominent designers, including Louisa J. Davis, Eliza Simmance, and William Parker. Condition: Inspection found the piece in excellent condition. There are no chips cracks or restoration. The sterling silver rim has a small dent. It stands approximately 1 1/4 high. Paddy Ashpot/Ashtray D5926 has a registration number of 817032, indicating the design was registered in 1936. All of the jugs and the ashpot are in very good-excellent condition and are from my personal collection of nearly 900 Toby and Character Jugs.
